His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. Revelation 19:12
§§§§§§§§§
Crowns are not merely decorative headwear for kings. They represent power, authority, and honor due to the king. As such, a single crown would never be sufficient for the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is not only the ruler, but the creator of all that has ever existed or ever will exist. So we crown Him with many crowns when we sing praises to the One who is above all and by Whom all things exist.
He is the Lord of life. He showed that when He rose victorious over the grave. Death could not contain Him. The grave could not restrain Him.
He is the Lord of peace. He sets up kingdoms and pulls down kings. Every king or ruler reigns only by His consent and for His purposes. But His reign will never end.
He is the Lord of love. He chose to die on the cross so that we could be redeemed and made His own. We praise Him for His great sacrifice that bought our pardon.
§§§§§§§§§
Father, Your kingdom will never fail. You are my King. You are Almighty God. There is none like You. I will praise You and glorify You for all eternity. Amen.
