My Beliefs

My beliefs can best be found in the Baptist Faith and Message. A brief summary would be as follows:

I am a theological conservative.
I believe in the inerrancy of the Scriptures. The Bible is the whole and complete Word of God. It is His revelation to us so that we may know Him.
All mankind is fallen by nature and sinner by choice. Thus separated from fellowship and relationship from God.
Salvation is by grace through faith alone. There is no work of the flesh that can earn one salvation. It is the free gift of God.
Baptism by a local congregation is the first act of obedience and witness of a new believer. Baptism does not save us.
The church consists of those believers who have followed the Lord in believers baptism and chosen to affiliate with one another in the love of the Lord.
The church is the only institution God established to proclaim the Gospel to a lost world.
Every believer needs to affiliate with and participate in church in order to grow and serve.

My Policies

I serve on a first come first served basis. I will never cancel or change a commitment if a "bigger/better" opportunity comes along.
I come on a love offering basis for non-profit groups. Fee arrangement are available for all others.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ will be presented without apology or compromise.
I work closely with and under the authority of the local pastor.
Housing and travel expenses are the responsibility of the organization issuing the invitation.
