Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience. Hebrews 4:11

We know that we are not saved by works. (Ephesians 2:8) But we also know that we were saved in order to do good works. (Ephesians 2:10) James, the brother of our Lord, wrote, “But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. (James 2:18–19)
Our Lord did not save us so that we could rest on our laurels. He clearly wants us to be about His business. Matthew 28:18-20 is His final command to all who would follow Him. Our task is to carry the Gospel to the whole world.
In John 9:4, Jesus said to His disciples, “We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work.”

Father, You have called me to serve You. You have also promised that You would enable me to do the work of the Kingdom. Lord, give me the strength and wisdom I need to tell the world about Your great love and sacrifice. Show me where You want me to go and give me the words that I need to do Your work. Amen.
